This policy explains how an order can be cancelled. It applies to orders placed on utilitymart.shop, operated by HMBR Tools And Chemicals LTD.
1. Cancelling before dispatch
You can cancel an order, or remove items from it, free of charge until we hand it to the courier. Contact us as soon as possible by WhatsApp or phone on +880 1766-665880, or by email to [email protected], with your order number and the mobile number you used. We confirm the cancellation by SMS (and email if you gave one). If you paid online, we refund you as described below.
2. After dispatch
Once the parcel has been handed to the courier it can no longer be cancelled. You may refuse delivery when the courier arrives, or accept it and ask for a return within 7 days under our Refund and Return Policy. If you refuse a parcel without a valid reason, delivery charges may apply to future orders.
3. Cash on delivery orders
If you cancel a cash on delivery order before dispatch there is nothing to refund, because you have not paid.
4. Online payment orders
If you paid online and the order is cancelled, you are refunded the full amount you paid, including the delivery charge when the cancellation happens before dispatch. The refund goes back to the same card, bKash, Nagad or bank account within 7 to 10 working days. Your bank or wallet may need extra days to show it. See the Refund and Return Policy.
5. When we cancel an order
We may cancel an order, in whole or in part, if:
- an item is out of stock or no longer sold;
- a price or product detail on the Website was clearly wrong;
- the delivery address is incomplete or outside the courier's service area;
- we cannot reach you to confirm the order, or the mobile number cannot be verified;
- an online payment is not confirmed; or
- we reasonably suspect the order is fraudulent or placed by mistake.
We will call you and tell you by SMS or email. Anything you have paid for a cancelled order is refunded in full within 7 to 10 working days.
6. Payments that were taken but no order was created
If money left your account but you did not receive an order confirmation, contact us with the transaction details. We check the payment with our payment gateway; if no order exists, we refund you within 7 to 10 working days.
7. Your legal rights
This policy does not affect your rights under the laws of Bangladesh, including the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009. See also our Terms and Conditions and Shipping and Delivery Policy.
